Analisis Pelatihan Dan Kompetensi Serta Pengaruhnya Terhadap Penempatan Kerja Dan Kinerja Karyawan PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Di Pekanbaru
The research held in BTN Pekanbaru branch. The aim is to know the direct and indirect effect of training and competency toward employee’s performance that mediated by job placement.
Population are permanent staffs of BTN Pekanbaru branch whose total numer is 267 staffs. Respondent consists of 160 staffs are selected by Slovin method and stratified sampling. Data analysis tool is descriptive quantitative by using path analysis.
The study reveals that competency has no significant effect toward employee’s performance, but when mediated by job placement, the employee’s performance can be enhanced significantly by the competency. Meanwhile, training has a direct and very significant impact toward employee’s performance. Indirectly, job placement mediates the effect of training towards employee’s performance.
