Keterampilan Sosial Siswa Melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) Pada Materi Momentum Dan Impuls Di Kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru
The purpose of this research is to describe the ability of student’s social skills in class X MIPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru through the application cooperative learning RTE techniques on topic momentum, impulse, and collision. The research method was Pre-experimental with the Intact-Group Comparison design. The research subject were students of class X MIPA 4 and X MIPA 2 that each consist of 36 students, 16 male students and 20 female students. Data were obtained from the direct observation of student’s social skills by filling out the observation sheet in accordance with specified aspects. The result of this research showed the improvement of student’s social skills through the application of cooperative learning RTE techniques. The increase occurred for each indicators of student’s social skills as: Listen actively; Take turn in sharing the task; Pose the questions;Cooperative (mutual cooperative); and Tolerance. These results showed that acquisition of the average percentage value for all indicators of student’s social skills in the high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that application of cooperative learning RTE techniques able to train of student’s social skills in class X MIPA 4 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru.
