Uji Fitokimia Dan Uji Antibakteri Dari Ekstrak Daun Mangrove Rhizophora Apiculata Terhadap Bakteri Staphylococcus Aureus, Aeromonas Hydrophila Dan Pseudomonas Aeruginosa
This research has been carried out in August until November 2019. Samples were taken in the area of Bandar Bakau, Dumai City. Phytokimia test activities are carried out at the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry and Natural Materials, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, while the antibacterial test is carried out at the Marine Microbiology Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine. This study aims to determine the chemical compounds contained from R. apiculata mangrove leaf extracts and determine the best inhibitory zone concentrations that can inhibit the growth of S. aureus, A. hydrophila and P. aeruginosa bacteria. The method used in this study is an experimental method, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using 4 concentrations of 12.5%, 25%, 50%, 100%, negative control and positive control and perform 3 repetitions. The results of the phytochemical test of R. apiculata leaf extract contained the following compounds: saponins, tannins, flavonoids, steroids, and terpenoids. Antibacterial test results showed an inhibitory zone. The best concentration to inhibit the growth of A. hydrophila, S. aureus and P. aeruginosa is 100% concentration and the lowest yield is at 12.5% concentration.
Keywords: Rhizophora apiculata, Phytochemical test, antibacterial test, Staphylococcus aureus, Aeromonas hydrophila, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
