Sintesis Dan Karakterisasi Hidroksiapatit Dengan Prekursor Dari Cangkang Lokan (Geloina Coaxans) Dan (Nh4)2hpo4 Menggunakan Biotemplate Membran Cangkang Telur Dengan Bantuan Microwave
In this research synthesis of hydroxyapatite (HAp) was carried out using Geloina coaxans shells as calcium precursors and (NH4)2HPO4 as phosphate sources through variations eggshell membrane mass (MCT) assisted of microwaves. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is can be used in the medical, adsorbent and catalyst fields. Analysis of X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) shows that the main chemical composition in the Geloina coaxans shells is CaO of 98.145%. X-Ray Difraction (XRD) analysis of the Geloina coaxans shells showed the presence of aragonite CaCO3 according to JCPDS 01-075-9987 with the highest aragonite peak at 2θ = 26.1797o. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) synthesis was performed with a Ca/P ratio of 1.67 with variations eggshell membrane mass (MCT). Based on the results of the Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) analysis, there are specifics absorption band in the O-H, CO32- and PO43- groups. The absorption band of the functional group indicates the functional group of the hydroxyapatite synthesized. The results of the Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis showed that the best morphology of hydroxyapatite with a variety of eggshell membrane mass (MCT) was found in the mass of MCT 100 mg with morphology in the form of particle agglomeration on rough surfaces and resembled cotton fibers with piles of short rods with various sizes. HAp morphology like this can be applied to adsorbents.
