Pengaruh Investasi Dan Neraca Perdagangan Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Serta Pengangguran Di Provinsi Riau

Based on economic theory, that investment and trade balance is one of the key of economic growth in Riau Province, in addition to household consumption expenditure and government expenditure. Therefore, the magnitude of the economic growth will simultaneously affect unemployment. This research aims to determine the influence of investment and balance of trade on economic growth as well as unemployment in Riau Province. This research uses quantitative research methods and analyze using Path Analysis with Eviews program version 10.
The results showed that influential investments were not directly significant to economic growth. Trade balance has a significant impact on economic growth. Significant negative economic growth against unemployment. Investment negatively has no significant impact on unemployment after mediated by economic growth variable. Trade balance has negatively significant impact on unemployment after mediated by economic growth.
