Tinjauan Penerapan Rumah Tangga Miskin Dengan Menggunakan Metode Neraca Rumah Tangga (Studi Kasus : Desa Sadar Jaya Kecamatan Siak Kecil Kabupaten Bengkalis)

The purpose of this study is to review the determination of poor households by
applying a household balance sheet in Sadar Jaya Village, Siak Kecil District,
Bengkalis Regency. The sample studied was selected purposively 45 poor
households that were officially designated as poor households who are recipients
of social protection programs from the government. The results showed that the
expenditure of poor households per capita was Rp 602.070 / month and was
greater than the poverty line in Bengkalis Rp 508.633 / month and was not
categorized as poor households. Poor households also have adequate assets and
liabilities. Poor households have the ability to repay debts from their assets and
income. Poor households must be able to use their assets for productive activities
as a key step to get out of the poverty trap.
