Perbandingan Variabilitas Antara M0 Dan M2 Kedelai Hitam Varietas Detam 1 Hasil Radiasi Sinar Gamma
This study was intended to determine the variability of various M2
populations of soybeans variety of Detam 1 resulted from radiation by gamma
radiation at various dosages compared to their parents. This research was carried out
in the Experimental Station of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University from
January 2019 until April 2019. The experiment was arranged in a completely
randomized design in which five M2 soybean populations from gamma ray applied
by 100 Gy, 150 Gy, 200 Gy and 250 Gy. Each population was replicated four times.
The data were analyzed by using analysis of variance and followed by Duncan new
multiple range test at 5% level. The population variance was analyzed by individual
bases for every population by using the MS Excel. The homogeneity of the variance
value is tested by homogeneity of variance (HOV) according to the Levene’s test
procedure. The result showed that gamma ray radiation caused variability in
quantitative characters such as flowering age, harvest age, number of pods per plant,
number of pods per plant and seed weight per plant in M2 populations, while in
qualitative characteristics is shown by the number of pods per plant at a dose of 150
Gy, flowering date at 200 Gy and the harvest date, pod numbers per plant and seeds
weight per plant at 250 Gy.
