Analisis Hubungan Gaya Kepemimpinan Mandor Panen Dan Motivasi Kerja Pemanen Dengan Produktivitas Kerja Pemanen Kelapa Sawit Di Pt. Tunggal Perkasa Plantations
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to identification foreman harvest leadership
style, identification condition employee harvest motivation, analyze relationship
between foreman harvest leadership style to employee harvest productivity and
analyze employee harvest motivation to employee harvest productivity in PT.
Tunggal Perkasa Plantations. Object of research was employee harvest. Data
obtained from sample using purposive sample technique. There are two category
of sample, that is (1) employee harvest is working in farm with plant age is 15
years, flat topography and mechanized harvesting techniques, and (2) employee
harvest is working in farm with plant age is 10 years, rolling one topography and
conventional harvesting techniques. The study found that in general the harvest
foreman in Sei Sagu farm is categorized as participative leadership style. The
condition of employee harvest motivation work in Sei Sagu farm is categorized as
high motivation caused by employee harvest sense that needs that are form from
nine indicator according to hierarchy of needs theory from Abraham Maslow can
be fulfilled. The other results form data collected indicate that there was not
relationship between the harvest foreman leadership style to employee harvest
productivity and there was relationship between employee harvest motivation to
employee harvest productivity.
