Efisiensi Produksi Jagung Pipil Di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota Sumatera Barat

This study aims to analyze farming, looking for production efficiency of shelled maize. This research was conducted using a survey method and the sample determination was carried out by multistage sampling with the number of respondents 45 peeled maize farmers in the Lima Puluh Kota Regency by using analysis tools, namely farm analysis, DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis).
The results showed that based on the analysis of shelled maize farming had an RCR of 1.80. Production efficiency of flat maize in Lima Puluh Kota Regency, namely technical efficiency is not too problematic in peeling corn farming in Lima Puluh Kota Regency because the average value for technical efficiency is close to 1. Farmers who are allocatively efficient are able to optimize the combination of input use against the price of these inputs. or equating the value of the marginal product with marginal cost. Economically efficient farmers minimize the use of inputs so that with a certain input price these farmers can minimize the input costs incurred.
