ABSTRACT
This Islamic Sports Tourism Area is quoted from a hadith that reads from Amirul
Mukminin, Umar Al-Faruq Ibnu Al-Khattab, Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi
Wasallam said: "Teach your children to ride, swim, and archery,". (HR. Shahih
Bukhari / Muslim). From the hadeeth can be taken 3 sports that have been clearly
disabdakan by the Messenger of Allah, namely horse riding, swimming and
archery. These three sports will be the main functions in the Islamic Sports
Tourism Area. Islamic Sports Tourism Area aims to accommodate community
activities and become the center of activities of Islamic Sports in Pekanbaru. This
tourist area is intended for all people both families and for brethren and akhwat.
This tourist area has a place for special families and especially no family, for
those who do not have a family then there is a place to separate the room such as
ikhwan and akhwat.
The choice of design location of this tourist area is on the road Khadiran, Kulim,
District Tenayan Raya, Pekanbaru City. The selection of this location has a huge
potential, especially this location is close to Al-Ikhwan Boarding School and The
Construction of Al-Munawarah Boarding School. This location is very closely
related to the green environment that is needed to build the body's stimuli to be
calmer.
Biomimetic architecture became the theme in the design of Islamic Sports
Tourism Area. Biomimetic architecture according to biomimetic guild in
hartono,2018. That is to have three levels that can be applied in a design namely
form, process and ecosystem.
