ABSTRACT
Pekanbaru is the capital of Riau Province which has a variety of dense activities,
there is a need for a healthy and balanced intake. Vegetarian culinary spots in
Pekanbaru are still rarely seen at this time. Vegetarian is a term for people who
eat plant-based foods and eliminate animal elements, this diet is considered
healthier. So the need for a container that presents a menu of healthy food made
from plants for people in modern times. The Vegetarian Center with an Organic
Architecture Approach in Pekanbaru is a place to facilitate healthy and nutritious
culinary delights with a balanced diet. This aims to teach people to be more
concerned with body health, so that it has a good influence on their daily lifestyle.
Organic architecture is an architectural philosophy that upholds the harmony
between the human environment and the natural world through a design
approach. Natural atmosphere with natural elements can provide calm and
comfort for its users. The concept used in this design is "together with nature"
which is inspired by how functions can be in harmony with nature, by utilizing
nature as an important part of the design.
