Perencanaan Komunikasi Pariwisata Pt Pertamina Ru Ii Sungai Pakning Dalam Pengembangan Objek Wisata (Studi Pada Objek Wisata Arboretum Gambut Marsawa Kelurahan Sungai Pakning, Kabupaten Bengkalis)
Marsawa Peat Arboretum is ecotourism based on nature conservation and education which was formed from the impact of forest and peatland fires that occurred in 2012 to 2015 in Sungai Pakning Village. PT Pertamina RU II Sungai Pakning together with the community is developing the peat arboretum as a tourist attraction area that has a positive impact on the community's economy as a form of social and environmental concern. In order to be developed in a sustainable manner, PT Pertamina RU II Sungai Pakning needs to plan tourism communications so that the marsawa peat arboretum is attractive to visit, so that tourists can benefit from the existence of the Marsawa Peat Arboretum program. This study aims to determine the steps for planning the tourism communication of PT Pertamina RU II Sungai Pakning in the development of Marsawa Peat Arboretum Ecotourism as a tourist attraction and how the public responds to and receives the benefits of ecotourism.
This research uses qualitative research method. The study subjects used purposive sampling techniques with seven research informants. Data collection is conducted through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking technique using triangulation.
The results of this study indicate that the tourism communication planning of PT Pertamina RU II Sungai Pakning in the development of a tourist attraction is carried out through planning steps in the form of problem analysis and research using social mapping techniques for mapping the conditions in the field. Policy Formulation based on Organizational Governance. The planning of the implementation program empowers the Tunas Makmur Tani Cooperative group with assistance in arboretum management, as well as tour guide training. Communication activities by adding facilities, as well as events related to environmental conservation and promoted through Instagram. Feedback is received by the affluent bud farmer groups for economic improvement. Evaluation is carried out twice a year through FGDs and improving the marsawa peat arboretum facility. The public responds to the marsawa peat arboretum ecotourism worthy of being a tourist attraction because it can provide interesting knowledge and experiences after a visit to the marsawa peat arboretum.
