Pengaruh Pelaksanaan Supervisi Akademik Dan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru SMP Kecamatan Sinaboi Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to describe the effect of the implementation of academic
supervision and principal leadership on the performance of junior high school
teachers in Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The background of the problem
in this study is that the teachers of SMP Sinaboi Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency,
do not have good performance, such as not all teachers plan learning to educate
according to the criteria of a professional teacher, 75% of the low performance of
teachers in SMP Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency is still found. In carrying
out the teaching and learning process, the teacher has intelligence, especially in
terms of practical theory to become a professional teacher. The next symptom,
80% of teachers are still found who have not been able to carry out assessments
for their students at SMP Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The type of this
research is descriptive quantitative research and survey method with
correlational research (correlational research). The data collection technique
used is a questionnaire with 48 respondents from 54 junior high schools in
Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency which were randomly selected as samples
using the Slovin formula. The research method was carried out, namely the
respondents gave responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale
consisting of five answer choices, namely Always, Often, Sometimes, Rarely, and
Never. Analysis of the data used is descriptive and inferential statistics.
Based on the data analysis, it was found that there was a positive and
significant effect on the implementation of academic supervision of the
performance of junior high school teachers in Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir
Regency, 12.7% with a low interpretation, while the remaining 87.3% was
determined by other factors that were not part of this study, while the rest was
found to have a positive and significant influence on the principal's leadership on
the performance of junior high school teachers in Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir
Regency, which was 15.8%, while the remaining 84.2% was determined by other
factors that were not part of this study; and It was found that the positive and
significant effect of the implementation of academic supervision and principal
leadership on the performance of junior high school teachers in Sinaboi District,
Rokan Hilir Regency was 18.1%, while the remaining 81.9% was determined by
other factors that were not part of this study.
