Kontribusi Motivasi Kerja Dan Kecerdasan Sosial Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Guru SD Kecamatan Sinaboi Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to describe the contribution of work motivation and social
intelligence to the job satisfaction of elementary school teachers in Sinaboi
District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The background of the problem in this study is that
elementary school teachers in Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency, do not yet
have high or sufficient job satisfaction such as some teachers do not have
satisfaction with the rewards received, then teachers are less satisfied with
working conditions, low satisfaction with the rewards they get. from the
leadership, the lack of teachers being satisfied with the support from colleagues,
and a lack of pride in the work done. The type of this research is descriptive
quantitative research and survey method with correlational research
(correlational research). The data collection technique used was a questionnaire
with 117 respondents from 132 elementary school teachers in Sinaboi District,
Rokan Hilir Regency, which were randomly selected as samples using the Slovin
formula. The research method was carried out, namely the respondents gave
responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale consisting of five
answer options, namely Strongly Agree, Agree, Hesitate, Disagree, and Strongly
Disagree. Analysis of the data used is descriptive and inferential statistics.
Based on the data analysis, it was found that the positive contribution of the
work motivation variable to job satisfaction in SD Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir
Regency was 21.1%, while the remaining 78.9% was determined by other factors
that were not part of this study; Furthermore, it was found that the positive
contribution of social intelligence variables to job satisfaction in SD Sinaboi
District, Rokan Hilir Regency was 24.1%, while the remaining 75.9% was
determined by other factors that were not part of this study; and it was found that
the positive contribution of work motivation and social intelligence variables to
job satisfaction in SD Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency was 32%, while the
remaining 68% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study.
