Pengaruh Kompensasi Dan Iklim Organisasi Terhadap Kualitas Pelayanan Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to describe the effect of compensation and organizational
climate on the service quality of the employees of the Education and Culture
Office of Rokan Hilir Regency. The background of the problem in this study is that
the apparatus / employees indicated by work behavior that lacks enthusiasm in
carrying out work, lacks enthusiasm in completing work, returns home before
work operational time is completed so that it has an impact on decreasing the
quality of services provided. Furthermore, as the symptoms seen in the employees
of the Education and Culture Office of Rokan Hilir Regency, there are still
employees who have not received either physical facilities, employee equipment
and other facilities so that they have not been able to carry out their duties in
accordance with the provisions. Furthermore, what is seen in other employees of
the Education and Culture Office of Rokan Hilir Regency is the ability to provide
the promised service immediately, accurately and satisfactorily and does not yet
have a response so that it seems slow in responding when providing services. The
type of this research is descriptive quantitative research and survey method with
correlational research (correlational research). The data collection technique
used is a questionnaire with 42 respondents from 71 all employees of the
Education and Culture Office of Rokan Hilir Regency who were randomly
selected as samples using the Slovin formula. The research method was carried
out, namely the respondents gave responses to the questionnaire in the form of a
Likert scale consisting of five answer choices, namely Very Often, Often,
Sometimes, Rarely, and Never. Analysis of the data used is descriptive and
inferential statistics.
Based on the data analysis, there was a significant effect between
compensation variables on service quality of 17.70% with a low interpretation,
because there were still 82.30% determined by other factors that were not part of
this study; Furthermore, there is a significant effect between organizational
climate variables on service quality of 32.00% with a low interpretation, because
there are still 68.00% determined by other factors that are not part of this study;
and Obtained a jointly significant effect between compensation and
organizational climate variables on service quality of 34.70% with a low
interpretation, because there are still 65.30% determined by other factors that are
not part of this study.
