Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dan Disiplin Guru Terhadap Kinerja Guru Di SDN Se Kecamatan Sinaboi Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of principal leadership and teacher discipline on teacher performance at SDN Se Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The phenomenon that occurs when teachers submit lesson plans on time from 2016 to 2019 has decreased. Meanwhile, the percentage of teachers who submitted their lesson plans on time has increased. This shows that teachers experience a decrease in performance in terms of submitting lesson plans. Of course this is a challenge for schools to improve so that in the future teachers are always on time in submitting lesson plans in accordance with what has been previously determined. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire given to 108 teachers who were randomly selected as samples using the census sampling method. The research was conducted, namely the respondents gave responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression and data processing using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program.
Based on the results of the research, the principal's leadership has an influence on teacher performance, meaning that the better the principal's leadership, the better the teacher's performance in carrying out their duties. This means that the principal's leadership is an important variable to consider so that teacher performance can increase. With increasing teacher performance, it will certainly have an impact on achieving predetermined goals, a lot of work and school planning are accomplished and completed on time. Teacher discipline is very closely related to teacher performance, meaning that the higher teacher discipline will support better teacher performance. Therefore, teacher discipline is an important thing to consider in improving teacher performance. With good teacher discipline, it will certainly have an impact on how to plan school programs effectively and achieve previously planned goals. Principal leadership and teacher discipline have an influence on teacher performance, meaning that the better the principal's leadership in teacher discipline, the better the teacher's performance in carrying out their duties. this means that the principal's leadership and teacher discipline are important variables to consider so that teacher performance can improve.
