Pengembangan Majalah Kimia Elektronik E-Chemagz Menggunakan Flip Pdf Professional Pada Pokok Bahasan Ikatan Kimia Kelas X SMA/MA

The research aims to produce a valid electronic chemistry magazine E-CheMagz which was made using Flip PDF Professional on chemical bonding materials and to determine the user's response to E-CheMagz. The research belongs to the type of research and development (R&D), a development model adapted from Plomp with steps consisting of the preliminary investigation phase, design phase, realization/ construction phase, test, evaluation, and revision phase. Validation was carried out to assess the product developed based on aspects of material substance and teaching-learning design by 2 material experts, aspects of display (visual communication), and software utilization by 2 media experts through a validation questionnaire. The trials were conducted on 30 students and 3 chemistry teachers from SMAN 9 Pekanbaru, SMAN 12 Pekanbaru, and SMA Cendana Pekanbaru. The results of the validation assessment showed aspects of material substance, learning design, display aspects (visual communication), and software utilization, respectively 97.22%, 98.61%, 100%, and 96.43% with valid/decent criteria. User responses are in very good criteria with 92.59% assessment results by teachers and 84.87% by students, resulting in the electronic chemistry magazine E-CheMagz final that can be used in the teaching and learning process.
