Kandungan Mikroplastik Pada Lima Jenis Ikan Di Waduk Koto Panjang Kabupaten Kampar, Riau

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted in October 2021. The research location is
located in the Koto Panjang Reservoir area. This study aims to determine the
content of microplastics in 5 types of fish in the Koto Panjang Reservoir, Kampar
Regency, Riau. The method used in this research is a survey method. The object
of the research was samples of the stomach and intestines of 5 types of fish that
were obtained from fishermen for analysis. The tools used in this research are
secchi disk, pH indicator, Current Drogue fish finder, stopwatch, sample pot,
scales, microscope, label paper and dropper. The results showed that microplastics
were found in the stomach and intestines of Kapiek (Barbodes schwanefeldii),
Motan (Thyninichthy polylepis), Paweh (Osteochilus haseltii), Pimping (Oxygater
anomalura), Tambakan (Helostoma temminckii). The types of microplastics found
in this study were films, fibers, and fragments. The type of microplastic that
dominates in the stomach and intestines of fish is the film type in Kapiek fish
(Barbodes schwanefeldii), with an abundance of 4.85 particles/individual.
