The Acceptor Family Income Improvement Business Program (UPPKA) is
a group of kb program support activities whose members consist of Pre-Prosperous
families and Prosperous Families I, to improve family welfare through
entrepreneurial activities under the guidance of DISDALDUK-KB Pekanbaru City
at the District / City level. In its activities to increase the empowerment of UPPKA
in Pekanbaru City, DISDALDUK-KB Pekanbaru City certainly has experienced
interference or miscommunication with the UPPKA group in Pekanbaru City. The
purpose of this study is to find out how the communication model of the Pekanbaru
Office of Population Control and Family Planning (DISDALDUK-KB) in
Improving Business Empowerment increases the Income of Acceptors (UPPKA)
families in Pekanbaru City.
This research uses qualitative research methods by generating descriptive
data from the research. The technique of writing the data with observations,
interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show the form of
communication model DISDALDUK-KB Pekanbaru City in increasing the
empowerment of UPPKA in Pekanbaru City is a combination of the communication
element of DeVito with David corten communication model. DISDALDUK-KB
Pekanbaru City and UPPKA Group interact with each other in the UPPKA group
empowerment process. This communication model is expected to realize its goal of
increasing the empowerment of UPPKA in Pekanbaru City.
