The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of
pedagogic competence and spiritual intelligence on the work performance of
elementary school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This
study uses a survey method with correlational techniques. The population in this
study were elementary school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir
Regency, totaling 134 teachers. Data processing using SPSS software version 20. The
statistical technique used to determine the effect between these variables is the
statistical product moment correlation technique. The data collection technique for
the variable teacher achievement and pedagogic competence was carried out with
documentation, while for the spiritual intelligence variable through a questionnaire
that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the value of
the determinant coefficient (R Square) was 0.410. This means that the influence of
pedagogic competence and spiritual intelligence on work performance is 41.0%
which explains that there is a significant influence between pedagogic competence
(X1) and spiritual intelligence (X2) simultaneously. affect teacher work performance
(Y). Thus, partially pedagogic competence, spiritual intelligence has an insignificant
positive effect on teacher work performance and simultaneously pedagogic
competence, spiritual intelligence has a significant positive effect on teacher work
performance. The implications of the results of this study will be directed at efforts to
increase the knowledge and spiritual intelligence of teachers.
