Dampak Pandemi Covid19 Terhadap Kesulitan Membayar Pinjaman Pada Bum Kampung Di Kampung Dayun Kecamatan Dayun Kabupaten Siak
ABSTRACT
This research aims to identify the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the
difficulty of paying loans by microcredit borrowers in rural areas. This research
was conducted at bumdes save and borrow business unit (SP) in Village Dayun
District Dayun Siak regency with a survey mentode in July - August 2021 by
interviewing 25 borrowers who experienced a loan payment increase in 2020 and 3
BUM Kampungp Dayun mandiri managers. The results showed the difficulty of
borrowers in returning loans to BUM Kampungp on variable borrower history and
business conditions. Efforts made by the board are still providing services to
customers who will return loans despite the limitations due to the Covid-19
pandemic and provide convenience for customers to make non-cash transactions.
The management's difficulty in collecting loan repayments during the Covid-19
pandemic was because customers did not get time waivers, installment waivers,
interest waivers, and principal payment waivers. Calculations of profitability ratios
showed a decrease in profitability ratios, both ROA, ROE, and BOPO in 2020 or
during the Covid-19 pandemic compared to the previous year.
