The problem in this research is the government policy that requires all educational institutions throughout Indonesia to conduct online teaching and learning activities, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, while physical education lessons are a lesson that requires students to do more physical activity or practice rather than studying. theory like any other general subject. The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of learning physical education offline or online using the WhatsApp application for students at SDN 03 Minas Barat Class 5. The sampling technique was purposive sampling in class V SD 03 Minas students who met the criteria that had been determined by the researcher. . The instrument used in this research was to use observation sheets and the results of the students' final semester exam scores in the even and odd semesters of the 2020/2021 school year.
