Pengelolaan Sungai Kelelawar Berdasarkan Aspek Ekologi-Sosial Budaya Di Kecamatan Hulu Kuantan Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi, Riau
ABSTRACT
Kelelawar River is a tributary of the Kuantan River which is used for various activities around
the Kelelawar River village. These activities will have a negative impact if not managed
properly. Therefore, it is necessary to use resources on the basis of integration and sustainability
based on the ecological-social-cultural dimension. This study aims to identify, analyze the
sustainability of the management of the Kelelawar River, determine the sustainability factors,
and formulate a management design based on the Socio-Cultural Ecology dimension. This
research was conducted in September-November 2021 using a survey method. The attributes of
the ecological dimension are river utilization zones, water conditions (PP. No. 22 of 2021), water
fertility (nitrate), periphyton diversity, protected organisms (fish), and tourist visits. Attributes
for the socio-cultural dimension are the level of education, social facilities, potential for conflict,
local wisdom and knowledge, the level of community participation, and environmental
knowledge. River management data were analyzed using the Rapfish application. The results
showed that the existing condition of the Kelelawar River was still feasible based on water
fertility (nitrate) and periphyton diversity. The index and sustainability status of the ecological
dimension are included in the less sustainable category with a score of 32.9% with a monte carlo
value of 34.6% while the socio-cultural dimension is quite sustainable with a score of 51.2%
with a monte carlo value of 50.4%.
