Analisis Teknis Kelayakan Pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (Plts)
ABSTRACT
Energy needs are increasingly becoming a basic need for human life. Today's energy needs are mostly met by fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas. However, the current supply of energy is running low. Utilization of renewable energy is one solution to overcome the increasing demand for electricity, including solar cell technology. This study aims to determine the technical analysis of PLTS on the Riau University Rectorate Building, the simulation is carried out using the Software System Advisor Model (SAM). The simulation results show that the average value of global horizontal irradiance (GHI) is 4.78 kWh/ /day, electrical energy production is 13,185 kWh, performance ratio (PR) in one year is 79%, capacity factor (CF) of 79% and losses of 21.4%. Meanwhile, the annual electric energy production is 158,216 kWh. Based on the studies made, it can be concluded that the rooftop PV mini-grid system with a power of 120 kWp in the building is feasible.
