Sistem Pakar Diagnosa Penyakit Pada Tanaman Karet Menggunakan Metode Certainty Factor Berbasis Web

ABSTRACT
Expert system is a system that uses human knowledge that is implemented into a computer. Expert System uses to support problem solving activities. Sungai Dareh is an area located in Pulau Punjung District, Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra Province. The majority of the population in Sungai Dareh work as farmers, one of which is rubber farmers. The problem that occurs to rubber farmers in the area is that when there is a rubber plant that affected by some disease, they do not know how to deal with the disease. Diseased rubber plants are sometimes left alone, causing the plants to eventually die. To overcome the problems faced by farmers in the region, an expert system was created to diagnose diseases in rubber plants. This system is built based on website. The method used in this research is the waterfall method for system development and the certainty factor method for designing an expert system. This research produces an expert system application that can diagnose diseases in rubber plants based on the symptoms that occur and provide solutions on how to deal with diseases in rubber plants.
