Hotspot is a popular term used, which refers to certain places that provide internet
Hotspot transmitter is also known as an Access Point. In order to be able to connect to
a hotspot, the device used must have a Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) feature. SMP Negeri
Huawei HG8245H router modem as a transmitter which has a beam distance of about a
radius of 35 meters - 50 meters with a speed of 50 MBps. The number of internet users
at SMP Negeri 10 Padangsidimpuan exceeds the capacity of Telkom's Indihome ISP
internet with one Huawei HG8245H router modem. This causes the internet in some
classrooms to be inaccessible to teachers and students when teaching and learning
activities take place. In this study, the optimization of the internet network was carried
