Profil Pasien Pneumonia Pada Penderita Kanker Paru Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode Januari 2017 Hingga September 2021

Pneumonia is an infectious disease of the pulmonary caused by the activity of microorganisms , Lung cancer is the most common type of cancer in Indonesia with the most complications are pneumonia. Pneumonia in lung cancer occurs when bronchial obstruction due to accumulation of sputum makes pneumonia-causing bacteria grow which is the direct cause of death.The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of pneumonia patients in lung cancer cases in RSUD Arifin achmad Riau Province period January 2017 to September 2021. This study is a retrospective descriptive study using medical records from patients. The results found that 37 Pneumonia patients in Lung Cancer cases were in the most age range 56-65 years (45.9%), men (75.7%) women (24.3%), (40.5%) diagnosed with radiology. The most common type of cancer is adenocarsionoma (43.2%), the highest stage was 4B (56.8%), 22 respondents (59.5%) were treated less than 8 days, and 56.8% of patients had a family history of cancer. This research is expected to provide data and knowledge for further research
