Inventarisasi Tumbuhan Spermatophyta Di Kawasan Hutan Arboretum Universitas Riau Sebagai Rancangan Buku Saku Biologi Kelas X SMA

Research has been carried out to determine the types of spermatophyta
plants in the Arboretum Forest Area, Riau University, Bina Widya Campus Km.
12.5, Simpang Baru, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City in September-December
2020. Based on the survey results in the learning process, especially in the
Kingdom Plantae (Spermatophyta) material contained in KD 3.8 in class X only
using textbooks, worksheets and ppt, very few use learning resources from
research results where this is important so that students understand the potential in
the surrounding environment that can be used as learning resources. The research
was carried out in 2 stages, the first stage was an inventory of spermatophyta plant
species in the Arboretum Forest area of the University of Riau. The second stage
is the design of the pocket book. The data collection technique is by observation
and sample collection. To inventory the spermatophyte plants using a survey
method, namely the collection is done through direct observation to the field to
inventory data on the types of spermatophyta plants in the Arboretum of the
University of Riau. Sampling technique and documentation using cruise methods
(cruise methods). The second stage in the form of pocket book design is done by
analyzing the suitability of the results of research data with the applicable KD,
then making a pocket book design and finally developing the contents of the
pocket book so that research data is conveyed properly to students. The results
showed that the Riau University Arboretum forest area contained 26 species from
17 families. The results of the study can be used as a pocket book design on
materials that include KD 3.8 class X SMA discussing plantae. The material that
can be achieved with this pocket book includes the diversity of species and
characteristics of spermatophyta plants.
