ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the infrastructure, pollution and income of MSMEs that have an impact on the construction of a Waste Water Treatment Plant (IPAL) in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City before and during the construction of the WWTP. This research was conducted in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City. The method used in this research is a descriptive and quantitative comparative type. Analysis of the data used is the paired sample t test. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that before the construction of the Waste Water Treatment Plant (IPAL), the income of MSMEs in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City was still maximum because consumers could stop in front of the shop when they were going to buy, there were no traffic jams so there were many buyers. Meanwhile, after the construction of the Waste Water Treatment Plant (IPAL), the income of MSMEs decreased due to several aspects such as traffic jams, pollution. Based on the results of statistical tests, it can be concluded that there is a significant impact on infrastructure, pollution and income before and after the Construction of a Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City.
