Pengaruh Fitoimunostimulan Terhadap Diferensiasi Leukosit Ikan Mas (Cyprinus Carpio) Yang Diuji Tantang Dengan Bakteri Patogen Aeromonas Hydrophila
ABSTRACT
The main problem in carp cultivation is the occurrence of bacterial infection caused by Aeromonas hydrophilla so that it can cause death. Prevention can be done by giving phytoimmunostimulants derived from mango leaves (M. indica), noni leaves (M. citrifolia), and guava leaves (P. guajava). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of phytoimmunostimulants on leukocyte differentiation of carp (C. carpio) infected with A. hydrophila. This research was conducted in January-April 2022. The method used is an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatment levels and 3 replications. Parameters observed were total leukocytes, leukocyte differentiation, phagocytic activity, survival rate and water quality. The results showed that the administration of phytoimmunostimulants had an effect on the differentiation of leukocytes in carp (C. carpio) with an increase in total leukocytes at the end of the study ranging from 8.12 x 104 cells/mm3 and in leukocyte differentiation, lymphocytes increased by 0.34-2.66%, monocytes decreased by 1.67%, and neutrophils decreased by 1% after maintenance for 30 days and challenge test for 14 days.
