Kualitas Air Sungai Tenayan Bagian Hilir Wilayah Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau Berdasarkan Pasang Surut

Abstrak
The Tenayan River is one of the tributaries in the Pekanbaru City area of Riau Provincewhich is influenced by the tides. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the waters of the downstream Tenayan River at high and low tides. This research was conducted in June-August 2021. The collection was carried out once a month during the peak full moon and at low tide. The research method used is the survey method. Determination of research stations is done by using the purposive sampling method. From the research, the water quality varies, namely the temperature ranges from 27 to 33 oC, brightness ranges from 11 to 41.5 cm, TSS ranges from 1 to 89 mg/L, pH ranges from 5, dissolved oxygen ranges from 4.1 to 6 mg/L, BOD ranges from 2 – 16.1 mg/L, nitrate ranged from 0.043 – 0.179 mg/L, phosphate ranged from 0.042 – 0.148 mg/L, COD ranged from 16.28-36.57 mg/L, fatty oils ranged from 0.004-0.385 mg/L. Parameters that pass the water quality standard threshold are based on PP No. 22 of 2021, class III quality standards, namely BOD.
