Juvenile delinquency is a behavior that deviates from norms and laws. One of the activities that are often carried out by teenagers is motorcycle racing. Motorcycle racing is an activity that is carried out in an organized manner. Racing on the highway without permission from the authorities is called wild racing. Wild racing is an activity to compete quickly with vehicles, both motorcycles and cars, this wild racing activity is not held on an official racing track or circuit at all. This study aims to determine the characteristics and background of the couse of wild motorcycle racing in Tanjungbatu. This study uses qualitative methods, qualitative methods are us used to examine natural objects thah develop as they are not manipulated by researchers and the presence of researchers does not affect the dynamics of the object. Teenagers who do wild motorcycle racing in Tanjungbatu are teenagers with range of 17 to 21 years old. The teenagers have good socio-economic conditions so they can make it easier to modify the motorcycles. Besides from work and school, teenagers prefer to spend their free time for having fun and hanging out with friends. Wild motorcycle racing has become a hobby among teenagers, starting with a hobby in the automotive sector and the desire to become a professional racer. The cause of teenagers doing wild motorcycle racing is not just a hobby, but a place to play and a social environment that is already widespread, the influence of the mass media and the trend of teenagers in their time.
