Karakteristik Demografi Penderita Hemofilia Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru Tahun 2021
Hemophilia is a X-linked inherited bleeding disorder caused by a deficiency of clotting factor VIII and factor IX so that blood cannot clot normally. The purpose of this study was to determine the demographic characteristics of hemophiliacs at the Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru in 2021. This type of research is a descriptive study and the sampling was done by cross-sectional from secondary data in the form of medical records. The subjects in this study were all hemophiliacs who were registered at the Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling with a total sample of 123 people. In this study, the results showed that the majority of the age of hemophiliacs at Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru in 2021 were a group of adolescents with an age range of 11-18 years as many as 45 subjects (36.6%) with the majority being male (99.2%). , the most common type of hemophilia was hemophilia A as many as 105 subjects (85.4%), the highest severity of hemophilia was severe grade as many as 58 subjects (47.2%). Patients with hemophilia are scattered in almost all areas of Riau. The area with the most distribution of hemophilia sufferers is in the Bengkalis area, as many as 20 subjects (16.3%)
