Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Penggunaan Antibiotik Tanpa Resep Pada Masyarakat Usia Muda Di Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2021 (Penelitian Melalui Media Sosial Smartphone)

Antibiotics function to suppress and stop biochemical processes in organisms based on pharmaceutical health legislation. However, the use of antibiotics is often inappropriate, which has an impact on increasing bacterial resistance to antibiotics. This study aims to analyze what factors are related to the use of antibiotics without a prescription. This research was conducted in December 2021 - May 2022. The design of this study was observational analytic with a sample of 202 Pekanbaru people who filled out a questionnaire via google
– form. Based on the results of the study, it was found that 98 (48.5%) respondents had used antibiotics without a prescription, but from the level of knowledge of the respondents belonged to the level of good knowledge as many as 144 (71.3%) respondents. From the results of the chi square test there is no relationship between age, education, sources of information, income and also the level of knowledge on the use of antibiotics without a prescription with p>0.05. This research is expected to provide information to the public to be wiser in using antibiotics by getting antibiotics using a doctor's prescription and in accordance with the doctor's recommendations.
