Hubungan Riwayat Antenatal Care Dan Pemberian Asi Eksklusif Dengan Kejadian Stunting Pada Baduta Di Kelurahan Rejosari Kota Pekanbaru

Stunting is the main threat to the quality of life in Indonesia and also a threat to nation’s competitiveness. One of the indirect causes of stunting is history of non standard antenatal care and non exclusive breastfeeding. Antenatal care and exclusive breastfeeding are important for the growth and development of babies in future. The reason the author does this research is to find out is there any correlation between history of antental care and exclusive breastfeeding with stunting incidents in children under two years in the village of Rejosari Pekanbaru City. This research use analitycal cross sectional as its research design. This research will be done to a mother who have under the age of two baby in the village of Rejosari Pekanbaru city as its subject. Most of the under two years children are female and most of them were born not BBLR. Most of the mother’s ages during pregnancy are not classified as risky, have further education and their parent’s income is below the minimum UMK. Most of the mother’s antenatal care history was in accordance with the standard (75,3%) and the mother had given exclusive breastfeeding (72,7%). 28 under two years children have stunting issue (36,4%), and 49 under two years children (63,6%) doesn’t. The conclusion of this research is that there is a signicant correlation between history of antenatal care and giving exclusive breastfeeding with the incident of stunting to under two years children in the village of Rejosari Pekanbaru city.
