Faktor Risiko Tuberkulosis Multidrug-Resistant (Tb-Mdr) Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2020-2022
Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious infectious disease caused by infection with the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis and mostly attacks the lungs. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors for multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province in 2020-2022. This research was conducted in February 2022 – June 2022. This research was conducted with a Cross Sectional research design with data collection methods using a questionnaire at the Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province in 2020-2022. Based on the results of the study, it was found that more MDR-TB patients were male (55%), with the most ages ranging from 15-55 years (80%), with the most education being high school (60%), dominated by patients who smoked (55 %), and with a history of comorbidities (15%). The level of knowledge of MDR-TB patients is almost entirely (80%) moderate knowledge, almost entirely (75%) motivation to cure is moderate, and (50%) regular in taking medication. It was concluded that almost all of the knowledge and motivation levels of MDR-TB patients were in the moderate category and only half of the patients were taking medication regularly.
