Uji Tepung Dedak Sebagai Bahan Pembawa Pada Formulasi Tepung Cendawan Entomopatogen Beauveria Bassiana (Bals.) Vuillemin Lokal Terhadap Helicoverpa Armigera Hubn. Hama Tanaman Jagung Di Laboratorium
ABSTRACT
Helicoverpa armigera is the main pest of Zea mays. Biological control using the Beauveria bassiana was effective in controlling H. armigera. B. bassiana can be made in the form of a flour formulation by adding a carrier material, namely bran flour. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best amount of bran flour as a carrier in the formulation local B. bassiana flour and included in the category of bioinseticide against H. armigera pests of corn plant in the laboratory. The research was conducted at the Plant Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, in September-November 2021 using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of five treatments and four replications. The treatment given was the amount of bran flour in 30 g of local B. bassiana flour formulation 0 g of bran flour, 0.45 g of bran flour, 0.60 g of bran flour, 0.75 g bran flour, 0.90 g bran flour. The results showed the amount of bran flour 0.90 g in the local B. bassiana flour formulation was the best amount of bran flour to control H. armigera by causing a total mortality of 82.5%, the initial time of death was 51.5 hours after application, and the Lethal Time 50 (LT50) was 105 hours after application. The amount of bran flour 0.75 g in the local B. bassiana flour formulation has been included in the bioinsecticide category by causing a total mortality of 75%, the initial time of death of 58.25 hours after application, and LT50 of 113.75 hours after application.
