Management is a process or method in helping to formulate organizational goals
and objectives, providing supervision on all matters involved in the
implementation of achieving goals, and carrying out activities driven by other
people's energy. The term management in English is Management. The Dutch
Tangsi is a Dutch heritage fort located on the side of the Siak river, Mempura
District, Siak Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the
Management of the Dutch Tangsi Tourism Object by the Tourism Office of Siak
Regency. This research method uses qualitative with data collection techniques
used are primary data and secondary data obtained from observations, interviews
and documentation which are analyzed by researchers to obtain data. The results
of the study show that the management of the Dutch Tangsi tourist attraction is
quite good, but there are some problems due to the lack of management of
development planning for this Dutch Tangsi Tourism Object. lack of facilities to
increase visitor interest, and lack of employees in managing the Dutch Tangsi
Tourism Object.
