Efek Cu Dan Cr Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kandungan Klorofil-A Cyclotella Sp.
ABSTRACT
The research was conducted from Maret until April 2022 at the Laboratory of Waste Treatment, Aquatic Resource Management, Universitas of Riau . The purpose of this research was to determine the 96-h IC50, LOEC, NOEC and the chlorophyll-a content after the exposure of chromium and copper to microalgae Cyclotella sp. The result showed that 96-h IC50 value of chromium and copper for growth of Cyclotella sp. was 0,2288 mg/l and 0.6089 mg/l, respectively the LOEC chromium and copper was 0.1 mg/l and 0.32 mg/l, the NOEC chromium and copper was < 0.1 mg/l and < 0.32 mg/l. Based on data IC50, chromium was more toxic than copper to the microalgae Cyclotella sp. The chlorophyill-a content correlates with the percent decrease in microalgae cell density.
