Analisis Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Pengeluaran Pendidikan Di Provinsi Riau

Efforts to create quality human resources, of course, a country must pay attention
to supporting factors, namely the available facilities and infrastructure are very
adequate, such as having good educational support facilities, having health facilities
needed by all levels of society and other supporting infrastructure facilities.
Education expenditure is one of the expenditures allocated in regional
expenditures every year, the increasing economic growth then it explains that regional
income has also increased so that the budget for regional expenditures in various subsections
of expenditure also increases. economic growth, human development index
(HDI) and PAD affect education spending. Where when there is an increase in economic
growth it will encourage an increase in education spending, however, in 2013 when
education expenditure decreased, HDI and PAD actually increased. This study aims to
analyze the factors that influence education spending in Riau Province. The method of
data analysis was carried out by the method of multiple linear regression analysis with
OLS analysis techniques.
Based on the results of the study, it is known that economic growth has a
significant positive effect on education expenditure in Riau Province. This can be seen
from the probability value of each variable that has an effect on the 10% level. The
human development index has a significant positive effect on education expenditure as
seen from the probability value of each variable that actually affects the 10% level.
Which means that changes in the human development index can affect changes in
education expenditure. Regional original income (PAD) has a significant positive effect
on education expenditure as seen from the probability value of each variable that has an
effect at the level of 10%. Which means that changes in local revenue (PAD) can affect
changes in education expenditure in Riau Province.
