ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the economic condition of the sand and gravel mining community in Rengat Barat District and the environmental impact due to sand and gravel mining in Rengat Barat District.
The data used in this study is primary data obtained and collected by conducting interviews and questionnaires with relevant data. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative which is supported by quantitative data.
The results of the study show that sand and gravel mining activities have a real impact on the community's economy, such as employment, economic growth. and does not cause a negative impact because there is no environmental impact
