ABSTRACK
This study aims to determine the effect of wages, economic growth and unemployment on employment in the manufacturing sector in Pelalawan Regency. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 23 application. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series for the period 2010-2021 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Pelalawaan Regency. The coefficient test results from multiple linear regression analysis show that the wage variable has a significant and positive effect on employment in Pelalawan Regency, while economic growth and open unemployment rate are not significant. This is because the industrial sector in Pelalawan Regency is more capital intensive and changes in the unemployment rate have no impact on the industrial sector but on other sectors, namely the informal sector.
