Pengaruh Cara Dan Perbandingan Lama Perawatan Pembasahan Terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton K-250
ABSTRACT
The compressive strength of concrete is influenced by many things, including the constituent materials, mix design, workmanship, and maintenance. The purpose of this treatment is to prevent or reduce water loss/evaporation from inside the concrete which is still needed for the continuation of the hydration process so that the optimization of concrete strength can be achieved close to the strength that has been planned. This study aims to determine the effect of the method and duration of wetting treatment on the compressive strength of concrete that is not treated and treated with wetting. The design concrete is K-250 with a cylindrical specimen with a height of 30 cm and a diameter of 15 cm. Compressive strength testing was carried out at 28 days. The optimum compressive strength is produced with a curing time of 28 days resulting from the treatment by immersion in water which has an average of 306.14 Kg/Cm². Concrete placed in the room without treatment has an average compressive strength value of 190.50 Kg/Cm². The compressive strength value of concrete by means of wet sack treatment has an optimum compressive strength of 264.40 Kg/Cm². The results showed that the highest compressive strength was produced in the immersion treatment in the tub, and in the treatment covered with wet sacks it had a compressive strength that was not far from the predetermined plan, whereas without treatment it did not reach the planned compressive strength.
