Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja Dan Iklim Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru SMP Negeri Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to identify and explain the relationship between work
motivation and work climate on teacher performance. The research was conducted at
6 public junior high schools in Marpoyan Damai sub-district, Pekanbaru city from
April to June 2022. The population in this study were all civil servant teachers at
state junior high schools in Marpoyan Damai sub-district, Pekanbaru city, totaling
178 people. The sampling technique used random sampling with the Slovin formula.
The number of samples chosen was 123 PNS teachers at State Junior High Schools in
Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City. Research analysis tool using mean score
analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of the study concluded that
partially: 1). There is a positive and significant influence between work motivation
(X1) on teacher performance (Y) of 13.40%. In general, the work motivation of
teachers at Public Middle School, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City is in
the sufficient category with a score of 69.94% of the ideal score. 2). There is a
positive and significant influence between work climate (X2) on teacher performance
(Y) of 15.70% on the performance of State Middle School Teachers, Marpoyan
Damai District, Pekanbaru City. In general, the working climate of the teachers of
Public Middle School, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City is in the good
category with a score of 80.92% of the ideal score. 3). There is a positive and
significant influence by Work Motivation and Work Climate which together have an
influence of 13.50% on the Performance of State Junior High School Teachers,
Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City. Work Motivation and Collaboration
Climate of SMP Negeri Marpoyan Damai District teachers in Pekanbaru City is
generally known to be in the good category with a score of 81.44% of the ideal score.
