Hubungan Kapasitas Penyuluh Perikanan Dengan Kepuasan Nelayan Dalam Kegiatan Penyuluhan Di Batang Gasan Kabupaten Padang Pariaman Provinsi Sumatera Barat

Abstract
This research was conducted in June-July 2022 which took place in Batang Gasan, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the capacity of fishery instructors, fishermen's satisfaction in fishery extension activities, the relationship between fishermen's characteristics and fisherman's satisfaction in extension activities and the relationship between fishery extension officers' capacity and fishermen's satisfaction in extension activities. The method used is a survey method by direct observation of the field and collecting data through a questionnaire. Respondents in this study were fishermen who participated in counseling activities as many as 68 people who were taken by accidental sampling. Data analysis techniques using the Spearman Rank correlation method (Rs). The results of this study are that the capacity of extension workers as facilitators is good, the capacity of extension workers as motivators and educators is not good and the capacity of extension workers as communicators is quite good, fishermen's satisfaction with planning is quite satisfied, fishermen's satisfaction with implementation and evaluation is not satisfied, the age characteristics and experience of fishermen are related significantly to fishermen's satisfaction, educational characteristics and fishermen's income are not significantly related to fishermen's satisfaction, the capacity of extension workers as facilitators, motivators, educators and communicators is significantly related to fishermen's satisfaction.
