Students' Perception On Online English Learning During The Covid-19 Pandemic At SMAN 1 Kubu Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

This study is intended to find out the students’ perceptions on online English learning during the covid-19 pandemic at SMAN 1 Kubu Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. In the past three years, online learning has become one of tremendous instructional processes which has been in trend over the world, including Indonesia. This research used descriptive quantitative approach. A Likert-scale questionnaire was used in this study to consider the students’ sensitivity of online learning with the options, compossed of strongly agree, agree, disagree, and strongly disagree. There were 82 students involved in this research. The findings showed that the positive perceptions reach 89.0% the tenth- year students of SMAN 1 Kubu agree that the media used in English online learning is suitable to support the learning process. However, the negative statements that 51.2 % of students agree that students have found difficulties in accessing English online learning due to low ability in utilizing the instructional process.
