Analisis Kelayakan Finansial Pengolahan Ikan Asap Di Sipujuk Farm Kota Padang Provinsi Sumatera Barat
ABSTRACT
This study was aimed to calculate the income of the smoked fish processing business and the short- and long-term financial feasibility of the smoked fish processing business at Sipujuk Farm. This research was conducted at Sipujuk Farm, Padang City, West Sumatra Province. The method used is a case study with direct observation of objects in the field and collecting data through interviews with smoked fish processing business owners at Sipujuk Farm using a descriptive-quantitative approach. The population in this study were smoked fish business owners at Sipujuk Farm, Padang City. The research results that have been obtained are: Based on BEP and R/C Ratio analysis, the smoked fish processing business income at Sipujuk Farm for short-term financial analysis shows that the business is viable to run. Meanwhile, based on long-term financial analysis, the NPV is greater than zero, namely IDR 1,317,539,029. The business BCR is 1.25, which means that the value is greater than 1. The business IRR shows an IRR value of 24%, which is greater than the predetermined interest rate, and the business PP shows a PP value that is faster than the economic life of the business. So based on the financial analysis of the long-term aspect of the Sipujuk Farm smoked fish processing business, this business is profitable and feasible to run. For this reason, it is hoped that Sipujuk Farm will be able to detail costs by keeping books of account so that income and expenses are detailed.
