Identifikasi Air Laut Terhadap Air Tanah Dengan Menggunakan Metode Geolistrik Konfigurasi Schlumberger Di Kelurahan Mundam Kota Dumai
ABSTRACT
Seawater intrusion has a serious impact on the availability of clean water for the population. Seawater intrusion in several locations in Mundam Village, Dumai City was indicated by fluctuations in resident well water quality from freshwater to brackish water to salt water. This study aims to determine the seawater intrusion zone in Mundam Village, Dumai City using the geoelectric method of the Schlumberger configuration as well as the water quality surrounding the research area using several parameters, including pH, Salinity, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), and Turbidity. Progress software is used to interpret 1D data resulting a 1D cross-sectional model. This investigation was carried out on two 100 meter long tracks. The inversion results using progress software reveals that seawater intrusion occured on track 1, where the resistivity value is 0.46 Ωm and the depth between 14.74 – 22 m. Track 2 no longer contains seawater because its the distance from the coast is more than 1 km. The depth of groundwater on track 2 is range from 15.09 – 22 m and its resistivity is 1.59 Ωm. As conclussion, residents living more than 1 Km from the coast can obtain potabale water throuh drilled wells for daily consumption
