drinking water facilities was inadequate to meet the needs of the community in
terms of the safety of the water used because in general the community used river
water and dug wells that had been polluted, the condition of the drinking water
infrastructure was also incomplete, so that water from the PDAM , PAMSIMAS is
rarely used by the community. In terms of the components of safe drinking water,
namely quantity, quality, continuity and affordability, they have not been met,
namely the components of quality and continuity. For the quality of drinking
water facilities, 83.7% of the distance between drinking water facilities and feces
storage does not meet the requirements, and the content of E. coli bacteria and
drinking water nitrate 100% exceeds the quality standard. Continuity component
is still 36.7% whose source of drinking water is available 24 hours, and the
remaining 63.3% is less than 24 hours. For the component of quantity and
affordability of MAS, 64.3% of DWF has been fulfilled, 55.1% have fulfilled basic
needs.
