Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa Dengan Menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving Pada Materi Suhu Dan Kalor Di SMA
Problem solving ability is a skill or potential that exists in students so that students are able to solve the problems they face and can apply them in solving physics problems. The purpose of this study was to determine students' problem-solvingabilities through the application of the TAPPS learning model in class XI MIPA of SMAN 1 Tambang. This study uses a type of quasy experimental research method with a research design "posttest only control group design". The instrument used incollecting this data was in the form of a problem-solving ability test on the Law of Temperature and Heat. This test refers to 4 Problem Solving Indicators based on Polya's opinion. The test questions consist of 4 essay questions. Data on the results ofstudents' problem solving abilities were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that students' problem-solving abilities by applying the TAPPS learningmodel were quite good (64.71%). Thus the application of the TAPPS learning model isquite effective in improving students' problem solving abilities.
